From
the fields to shelling
Transportation
from the farms to our factory is
done with our own transport. In our
shelling plant the hazelnuts are
calibrated into 9 different calibres
and then automatically sent to the
mills to have the shell broken and
finally to the shelling machines
where the fruit is separated from
the shell.
The shelled fruits are first selected mechanically and then by hand.
They
are stored in silos or raffia bags in cool dry places.
